PRIVACY POLICY.
This Privacy Policy explains how Pakistan Influencer Awards, operating Creator Lounge (“Creator Lounge”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data when you use mycreatorlounge.com, the Creator Lounge mobile application, related web applications, and connected services together, the “Platform”.
Scope and Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to Creators, Brands, Agencies and other authorised users of Creator Lounge. It covers personal data collected during registration and verification, use of Campaign and marketplace features, content submission, social-platform connections, measurement, invoicing and payment facilitation, events, communications, support and other Platform features.
Pakistan Influencer Awards is the operator of Creator Lounge and is responsible for the personal data it processes through the Platform. This Policy should be read together with the Creator Lounge Terms of Use.
Personal Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the Platform, and information received through integrations you authorise.
Creator accounts may include full name, username, email address, mobile number, city, date of birth, CNIC number and supporting identity document, biography, content categories, experience, areas of interest, previous brand collaborations, social profile links and self-declared audience information.
Brand and Agency accounts may include business name, authorised contact details, company or business registration information, verification documents, client or campaign information and billing details.
Where a Creator connects a supported social account, we may receive information made available through the relevant authorised API, such as account/profile identifiers, follower or audience figures, content identifiers, view counts and other performance information required for Creator Lounge features and Campaign measurement.
Where payment or payout functionality is used, we may process bank account, payment, invoice, settlement and tax-related information necessary to administer the transaction. We may also process device, session, authentication, notification and security information required to operate the Platform.
We record user consents, permissions and withdrawals, including the version and timestamp where applicable.
How We Collect Data
We collect data directly from you through registration, profile, Campaign, content, verification, support and payment forms; automatically when you use the Platform; from documents you upload; and through third-party services you choose to connect.
Social-platform data is obtained only through supported connections and permissions authorised by the account holder, including OAuth-based authorisation where provided by the relevant Connected Platform.
How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to create and administer accounts; verify identity, age and business information; enable Brands and Agencies to discover and evaluate Creators; enable Creators to discover and participate in Campaigns; administer content submissions and approvals; retrieve and display authorised social performance information; measure Campaign delivery; generate invoices and settlement records; facilitate payments or payouts; provide events, leaderboards and community features; provide customer support; secure the Platform; prevent fraud and manipulation; maintain audit records; enforce our Terms of Use; comply with legal obligations; and improve Platform functionality.
We use contact information to send essential account, security, Campaign, invoice, payment and service communications. Marketing communications are sent only where permitted and may be opted out of using the method provided in the communication or account settings.
Social Media and API Data
Creator Lounge may integrate with YouTube/Google, Meta services including Instagram and Facebook, TikTok, and other Connected Platforms introduced from time to time.
When you connect a social account, you authorise Creator Lounge to access only the permissions and data presented through the relevant authorisation process. We use that data to provide the Creator profile, discovery, Campaign measurement, reporting and other features described to you.
We do not sell social-platform data. We do not use Connected Platform credentials to sign in as you or publish content on your behalf unless a separate feature expressly requests and receives the permissions required to do so.
A Connected Platform may change, restrict or revoke API access or permissions. Its own terms and privacy practices also apply to your use of that service.
YouTube / Google API Services
Creator Lounge uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account or using any YouTube-related feature of Creator Lounge, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s collection and use of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Creator Lounge’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Creator Lounge may use authorised YouTube data to identify connected channels or content and retrieve available audience, follower/subscriber, view or performance information required for Creator Lounge features and Campaign measurement. This data is stored on Creator Lounge’s systems and cloud service providers, and is shown to the Creator and to the Brands or Agencies reviewing or running a Campaign with that Creator. It is shown publicly, for example on leaderboards or public profiles, only where the Creator has enabled public display. We do not otherwise share YouTube data except as required by law.
Users can revoke Creator Lounge’s access at any time through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, as well as by disconnecting the relevant account within Creator Lounge. Revoking access may prevent Creator Lounge from measuring or supporting Campaigns that depend on that connection.
Stored YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days. If you revoke Creator Lounge’s access, we delete stored YouTube API data within 7 days, except final Campaign view totals already recorded on invoices and settlement records, which are kept as transaction records under Section 12.
Meta and TikTok Connections
Where a Creator connects Instagram or Facebook through Meta's authorised APIs, Creator Lounge may process the profile and performance information made available under the permissions granted by that Creator.
Where a Creator connects TikTok through TikTok's authorised APIs, Creator Lounge may process the profile, content and performance information made available under the permissions granted by that Creator.
Users may disconnect these accounts through available Creator Lounge controls and/or the relevant third-party account settings. Disconnecting an account stops future collection through that connection, subject to technical processing already in progress and retention described in this Policy.
Who We Share Data With
We share personal data only where reasonably necessary to operate Creator Lounge, fulfil a user-requested service, administer a Campaign, comply with law, protect the Platform, or as otherwise disclosed in this Policy. We do not sell personal data.
Creator profile and relevant Campaign-performance information may be made available to Brands or Agencies using Creator Lounge. Performance data obtained from a Connected Platform is shown publicly, such as on leaderboards or public profiles, only where the Creator has enabled public display and can be switched off at any time. Brands and Agencies do not receive a Creator’s CNIC image, date of birth, bank account details or other restricted verification information merely because they review a Creator profile or Campaign application.
We may share necessary information with service providers supporting cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, notifications, email, security, verification, banking or payment processing. Current integrations may include Google/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Firebase Cloud Messaging and payment or banking partners such as Mashreq where used.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or a valid request from a competent authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of Creator Lounge, our users or others.
Payments and Banking Information
Payment information is processed only as required to generate transaction records, verify payment details, administer settlements or payouts, reconcile transactions, comply with tax or financial obligations, and address payment disputes.
Where a third-party bank or payment provider is used, that provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. Creator Lounge does not intentionally collect or store more banking information than reasonably required for the applicable payment function.
Cookies, Sessions and Similar Technologies
The Creator Lounge website and web applications may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, preferences and reliable operation of the Platform.
Where Creator Lounge introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies requiring additional notice or choice, appropriate disclosures and controls will be provided as required. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning correctly.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. These may include encryption in transit, appropriate encryption or protection of sensitive stored information, access controls, password hashing, session controls, audit logging and restricted administrative access.
Access to identity and payment information is limited to authorised personnel who require it for verification, administration, security, payment or compliance purposes.
No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should notify Creator Lounge promptly if they suspect unauthorised access.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Platform, completing Campaigns and payments, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations.
Active account and profile information is generally retained while the account remains active. Following account deletion, ordinary profile and Platform data that is no longer required will be deleted or de-identified within a reasonable operational period, normally within 90 days, subject to backup cycles and the exceptions below.
Identity/verification, transaction, invoice, payment, tax, consent, fraud-prevention, dispute and audit records may be retained for up to seven years after the relevant transaction, account closure or last required use, or longer where applicable law, a legal claim, regulatory requirement or legitimate security need requires it.
Social-platform data obtained through APIs is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant Creator Lounge feature, Campaign measurement or reporting, and is refreshed, deleted or de-identified in accordance with applicable platform requirements, including the YouTube-specific periods in Section 6.
Where a user revokes a social-platform connection, Creator Lounge stops obtaining new data through that authorisation. Previously obtained data will be deleted or de-identified when no longer required for an active Campaign, transaction record, dispute, security purpose or legal obligation, and for YouTube data within the period stated in Section 6.
Account Deletion and Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of their Creator Lounge account and associated personal data by emailing support@mycreatorlounge.com from the email address registered to their account with the subject “Account/Data Deletion Request”.
Where in-app account deletion is available, users may also initiate deletion through the relevant account settings. Creator Lounge may verify the request before acting on it to protect the account from unauthorised deletion.
Following a valid request, Creator Lounge will delete or de-identify personal data that is no longer required, normally within 30 days of verification of the request. Some information may be retained where necessary for outstanding Campaigns or payments, fraud and security records, enforcement of agreements, legal claims, tax/accounting obligations, consent records or other requirements permitted by law.
Deleting a Creator Lounge account does not automatically delete the user's account or data held independently by Google, YouTube, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Mashreq or another third party. Users should use the relevant provider's own settings for those services.
Disconnecting Social Accounts and Revoking API Access
A Creator may disconnect a supported social account through Creator Lounge where the Platform provides that control. A user may also revoke Creator Lounge permissions directly through the relevant Connected Platform’s account or security settings, including https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions for Google and YouTube, the Business Integrations or Apps and Websites settings for Facebook and Instagram, and the app permissions settings in TikTok.
Once access is revoked, Creator Lounge will no longer be able to retrieve new information through that authorisation. Features that depend on the connection, including verified performance measurement or eligibility for certain Campaigns, may stop working.
To request deletion of previously obtained Connected Platform data held by Creator Lounge, contact support@mycreatorlounge.com .
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request access to personal data Creator Lounge holds about you; request correction of inaccurate information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; disconnect social-platform permissions; opt out of marketing communications; request account or data deletion; or raise a privacy concern.
Some profile information can be updated directly in account settings. Verified identity fields may require Administrator assistance to protect account integrity.
Privacy requests may be sent to support@mycreatorlounge.com . We aim to acknowledge and respond to verified privacy requests within 30 days, subject to any different period required by applicable law and any reasonable extension needed for complex requests.
Children's Privacy
Creator Lounge Creator accounts are intended for persons aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to register as Creators under the current Platform model. Date of birth and identity verification may be used to enforce this restriction.
If we learn that personal data has been collected from an ineligible minor, we may suspend the account and take reasonable steps to delete the information, subject to legal or security requirements.
International Processing
Creator Lounge is operated from Pakistan, but some Connected Platforms and service providers operate internationally and may process or store information outside Pakistan.
Where data is processed internationally, Creator Lounge uses the relevant provider's authorised services and takes reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements appropriate for the nature of the information and applicable requirements. Third-party providers remain responsible for their own independent processing under their terms and privacy policies.
Data Accuracy and Automated Information
Users are responsible for keeping information they provide accurate and current. Self-declared audience information is used for profile, search or filtering purposes and is not represented as verified unless Creator Lounge expressly identifies it as Verified Data.
Creator Lounge may use automated Platform rules for functions such as eligibility checks, measurement, fraud detection, deadlines, account flags or Campaign administration. Where appropriate, users may contact support@mycreatorlounge.com if they believe an automated Platform action is based on inaccurate information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Creator Lounge develops, Connected Platform requirements change, or legal and operational requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, email or another reasonable method. The Effective Date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the current version.
